Smoking Zones – Albuquerque Sunport (ABQ)

Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) supports a smoke-free environment throughout its indoor terminal. Smoking, including vaping and electronic cigarettes, is not allowed anywhere inside the terminal or its concourses.

For those passengers who wish to smoke, designated outdoor smoking areas are provided. These are situated outside the terminal building, close to the baggage claim exits and curbside pick-up zones. Signage will guide you to the correct spots, and each area is equipped with ashtrays to ensure cleanliness.

Keep in mind that if you’re inside the secure zone and need to smoke, you’ll have to exit the secured area and go through TSA security again to return to your gate. So make sure to leave enough time before your flight if you plan to use these areas.
