At Miami International Airport, smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor spaces located before security, near both arrivals and departures. You’ll find clearly marked “Smoking Area” signs to help guide you to these spots. All indoor areas of the airport remain fully smoke-free, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices.
Where to Smoke at MIA:
- Outdoor areas are positioned on Level 1 (Arrivals) and Level 2 (Departures), just across the street from Concourses D, E, F, H, and J.
- Inside Concourse D, travelers can access a smoking lounge at TGI Friday’s, located near Gate D-36 — this is the only post-security smoking option at the airport.
Traveler Reminders:
- ? Plan ahead, as re-entering the terminal requires passing through security again.
- ? Always use the ashtrays and smoking bins provided.
- ? Follow airport signs to quickly find the nearest designated smoking area.
We appreciate your cooperation with MIA’s smoking policy. Enjoy your journey!
