Smoking area at Orlando Airport (MCO)

Travelers who smoke can do so only in designated outdoor areas, which are situated outside the terminal buildings, before entering security checkpoints. In compliance with Florida state law, these zones are placed no closer than 25 feet to any entrance, window, or air intake to prevent exposure to secondhand smoke.

Terminal A & Terminal B:

Smoking areas are located near the ground transportation and baggage claim levels, along the curbside. Look for clearly posted signs and ashtray stations.

Terminal C:

A designated smoking zone is available near the departures level, easily accessible and marked for convenience.

There are no indoor or post-security smoking areas at MCO.

Travelers who exit the secure area to smoke must complete TSA screening again to re-enter — be sure to allow additional time, especially during peak hours.

Smoking in undesignated spaces can lead to fines or penalties under airport and local ordinances.

Orlando International encourages passengers to respect its clean-air commitment by using only approved smoking zones and properly disposing of waste. Thank you for helping keep MCO safe, clean, and welcoming for all.
