Smoking Areas at McAllen Airport (MFE)

McAllen International Airport enforces a 100% smoke-free policy inside the terminal, including all waiting areas, restrooms, and boarding zones. This restriction applies to traditional smoking, vaping, and e-cigarette use.

Outdoor Smoking Zones:

• Travelers may smoke only in designated areas outside the terminal, located near the curbside on both arrivals and departures levels. These spots are clearly marked and equipped with ashtrays for proper disposal.

Important Notes:

• There are no indoor smoking lounges at MFE.

Passengers who exit to smoke must pass through TSA security again before returning to the gate area.
